Everything began in 2013 after an unforgettable family holiday spent on the Gold Coast, enjoying the beautiful nature and beaches.
It soon became clear that it wasn’t a normal holiday, but the start of a life changing journey. Breathing such clean air and living the Aussie laid back style, was something that definitely struck me.
I was already 40 years old and despite my immense love for my own town, when I came back I felt different, and I realised that the stressful life in Rome wasn’t safe anymore for me and my family.
During that year, we sold our successful restaurant in Italy and we worked hard to have all our cards in place in order to make our dream come true: moving permanently to Australia!
One year later, 2014 in a rare freezing Australian winter night, my family and me were sitting on our luggage in the middle of Surfers Paradise, scared, excited and ready to start our adventure.
After five years working as a chef for other companies and bringing all our knowledge, in March of 2019 Radici Pasta House was finally launched.
In Italian, “Radici” means roots, indicating our intention to offer a cuisine deeply rooted in the Italian food culture with a modern accent and extremely focused on the complete customer experience.
